ORDINANCE N0. � / -' � I <br /> AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING TRUCK TRAFFIC <br /> - NORTH 32ND STREET - <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1 . That when appropriate signs are erected giving <br /> notice thereof, all trucks or other vehicles of the Second <br /> Division, as defined by the Illinois Vehicle Code, which have a <br /> Class C or higher letter (greater weight) license from the State <br /> of Illinois, or equivalent weight licenses issued by another <br /> state, are prohibited and excluded from the use of North 32nd <br /> Street from a point 506 . 5 feet south of the south right of way <br /> line of Division Street, north to the south right of way line of <br /> Faries Parkway, provided that such prohibition of use shall not <br /> extend to fire, police or other emergency vehicles, school buses, <br /> and trucks which have a Class C or higher letter (greater weight) <br /> license which are making service calls or deliveries to <br /> residences, businesses and construction sites located on said <br /> streets. <br /> Section 2 . That any person, firm or corporation who shall <br /> violate any of the provisions of this ordinance shall upon <br /> conviction, be fined not less than Ten Dollars ($10 . 00) nor more <br /> than Two Hundred Dollars ($200 .00) for each offense. <br /> PRESENTED, PASSED, APPROVED AND RECORDED this 30th day of <br /> October, 1989 . <br /> - MAYO <br /> ATTEST: <br /> C TY CLERK <br /> PUBLISHED this -�� day of November, 1989 . <br /> TY CLERK <br />
