r <br /> � � ' , <br /> ' �:+; •�t� ��:it E��l::'� <br /> ORDINANCE NO. - 3 <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE <br /> - OFF-STREET PARKING FACILITIES - <br /> WHEREAS, after due notice, the Decatur City Plan Commission <br /> held a public hearing on the lst day of September, 1988, upon the <br /> petition of the Director of Community Development to modify and <br /> amend the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Decatur, the same <br /> being Ordinance No. 3512, as amended, at Section XX (C) (4) thereto <br /> regarding off-street parking facilities; and, <br /> WHEREAS, said Decatur City Plan Commission did report its <br /> finding and did recommend that the prayer of said petition be <br /> granted and the Zoning Ordinance be so modified and amended. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the report and recommendation of the <br /> Decatur City Plan Commission be, and the same are hereby, <br /> received, placed on file and approved. <br /> Section 2 . That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Decatur <br /> be, and the same is hereby, modified and amended at Section <br /> XX(C) (4) thereof so that as so modified and amended said Section <br /> XX (C) (4) of said Zoning Ordinance provides as follows: <br /> "All off-street parking facilities, including driveways <br /> and aisleways in and leading thereto and all driveways <br /> and aisleways leading to overhead or other doors of any <br /> building which provide vehicular access to such <br /> building, but not including such parking facilities and <br /> driveways serving a single-family dwelling, and also not <br /> including equipment storage areas in industrial <br /> districts, shall be surfaced with a minimum of two <br /> inches of Class I asphalt over a six inch aggregate <br /> base, or an equivalent surface approved by the <br /> Department of Public Works. All off-street parking <br /> facilities shall be graded and drained to dispose of all <br /> surface water as approved by the Department of Public <br /> Works upon review of plans and specifications submitted <br /> in accordance with the Building Code. " <br />
