r � � ' , ' �:+; •�t� ��:it E��l::'� ORDINANCE NO. - 3 ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE - OFF-STREET PARKING FACILITIES - WHEREAS, after due notice, the Decatur City Plan Commission held a public hearing on the lst day of September, 1988, upon the petition of the Director of Community Development to modify and amend the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Decatur, the same being Ordinance No. 3512, as amended, at Section XX (C) (4) thereto regarding off-street parking facilities; and, WHEREAS, said Decatur City Plan Commission did report its finding and did recommend that the prayer of said petition be granted and the Zoning Ordinance be so modified and amended. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the report and recommendation of the Decatur City Plan Commission be, and the same are hereby, received, placed on file and approved. Section 2 . That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Decatur be, and the same is hereby, modified and amended at Section XX(C) (4) thereof so that as so modified and amended said Section XX (C) (4) of said Zoning Ordinance provides as follows: "All off-street parking facilities, including driveways and aisleways in and leading thereto and all driveways and aisleways leading to overhead or other doors of any building which provide vehicular access to such building, but not including such parking facilities and driveways serving a single-family dwelling, and also not including equipment storage areas in industrial districts, shall be surfaced with a minimum of two inches of Class I asphalt over a six inch aggregate base, or an equivalent surface approved by the Department of Public Works. All off-street parking facilities shall be graded and drained to dispose of all surface water as approved by the Department of Public Works upon review of plans and specifications submitted in accordance with the Building Code. "
