MICROflL�i€U <br /> ORDINANCE (� �� � I <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE <br /> - TAVERNS - <br /> WHEREAS , after due notice, the Decatur City Plan Commission <br /> held a public hearing on the 5th day of May, 1988, upon the <br /> petition of the Director of Community Development to amend the <br /> text of the Zoning Ordinance with regard to taverns ; and, <br /> WHEREAS, said Commission did recommend that the prayer of <br /> said petiien be granted and the Zoning Ordinance so amended. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1 . That the recommendation of the Decatur City Plan <br /> Commission be, and the same is hereby, received, placed on file <br /> and approved. <br /> Section 2 . That Section II of the Zoning Ordinance, the <br /> same being Ordinance No. 3512 adopted on the 8th day of February, <br /> 1960 , and subsequently from time to time amended, be, and the <br /> same is hereby, further amended at paragraph 53 thereof so that <br /> as so amended said paragraph 53 of Section II provides as <br /> follows : <br /> 53 . Tavern: A place where alcoholic beverages are <br /> sold for consumption on the premises , except a <br /> hotel as herein defined. <br /> Section 3 .
