I ��pfiLME� ORDINANCE NO. � �-' ( o� AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY SANITARY DISTRICT OF DECATUR WHEREAS, there having been filed with the City Clerk, and by said Clerk presented to the Council herewith, the petition under oath of Sanitary District of Decatur requesting that there be annexed to the City territory described as : Commencing at the intersection of the South line of the Southeast Quarter ( SE1/4 ) of the Northeast Quarter (NE1/4 ) of Section 21, Township 16 North, Range 2 East , of the 3rd P.M. and the centerline of the right-of-way of State Route No. 48 (being 574 .8 feet West of the Southeast corner of said tract ) ; thence Northeasterly along said centerline (a curve whose radius is 1482 . 13 ' feet ) a distance of 580.3 feet ; thence Easterly at right angles along a line having a bearing of S 85° 42 ' E for ', a distance of 50 feet to a concrete marker on the '� Easterly right-of-way of said highway, said marker being ' the point of beginning; thence Easterly along said line 130 feet; thence Southerly along a line having a bearing , of S 4° 18 ' W 130 feet; thence Westerly parallel with i said line first mentioned 135 . 7 feet , more or less , to said Easterly right-of-way line; thence Northerly along said line 130.2 feet , more or less , to the place of beginning, containing 0. 4 acres, more or less ; and, WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners of record of all land within such territory and that no electors reside therein, and that said territory is contiguous to the City and not within the corporate limits of any city, village or incorporated town or other municipality; and, WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation has been given as required. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That said petition and the request thereof be, and the same are hereby approved.
