. � <br /> . <br /> � _ g o MICRO��NtD <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE APVNEXING TERRITORY ENTIRELY <br /> SURROUNDED BY THE CITY LIMITS OF DECATUR <br /> - 3325 WEST MAIN STREET - <br /> WHEREAS, certain unincorporated territory described as <br /> follows : <br /> Beginning at a point on the South right of way line of <br /> the Decatur and Springfield Road, located 33 feet at <br /> right angles to the center line of the existing <br /> concrete slab; 511.20 feet Northeasterly measured along <br /> the South right of way line of said Decatur and <br /> Springfield Road, from the West line of the Northwest <br /> Quarter of Section 17 , Township 16 North, Range Two <br /> East of the 3rd P.M. and 150 feet Southwesterly <br /> measured along the South right of way line of said <br /> Decatur and Springfield Road from the West line of Hill <br /> Crest boulevard extended South, thence South parallel <br /> to the West line of said Hill Crest Boulevard, extended <br /> South 145 feet ; thence Southwesterly parallel to the <br /> South right of way line of said Decatur and Springfield <br /> Road 150 feet ; thence North 150 feet; thence <br /> IVortheasterly along the South right of way line of said <br /> Decatur and Springfield• Road, a distance of 150 feet to <br /> the point of beginning, <br /> is wholly bounded and surrounded by the boundaries of the City of <br /> Decatur, Illinois ; and, <br /> WHEREAS , such territory is less than sixty ( 60 ) acres in <br /> area; and, <br /> WHEREAS , the Council finds that such territory should be <br /> annexed to the City of Decatur, Illinois ; and, <br /> WHEREAS, notice of the contemplated anne:cation of said <br /> territory has been given as provided by law. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOiS: <br />
