, <br /> ������ <br /> ORD INANCE NO. --��_� �'- <br /> AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING TWO-HOUR PARKING ZONES <br /> WEST WOOD STREET� WEST MAIN STREET <br /> AND SOUTH OAKLAND AVENUE <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> 1 . That when signs are erected giving notice thereof , <br /> no person shall park a motor vehicle for a continuous period <br /> of more than two (2) hours between the hours of 8 : 00 A.M. <br /> and 6 : 00 P.M. daily except Sundays and those holidays <br /> specified in Chapter 30 of the City Code entitled "Traffic" , <br /> at the following locations : <br /> A) On the north side of West Wood Street from the <br /> east line of South Oakland Avenue to a point <br /> 37 feet east thereof; <br /> B) On the south side of West Main Street from the <br /> east line of South Oakland Avenue to a point ' <br /> 80 feet east thereof ; <br /> C) On the east. side of South Oakland Avenue from <br /> the south right of way line of West Main <br /> Street to the north right of way line of West <br /> Wood Street ; <br /> D) On the west side of South Oakland Avenue from <br /> the south right of way line of West Main <br /> Street to a point 45 feet south of the south <br /> right of way line of the alley lying between <br /> West Main and West Wood Streets ; <br /> Section 2 . That the Director of Public Works be, and <br /> he is hereby, authorized and directed to remove the parking <br /> meters located on the portions of said streets described <br /> above. <br /> Section 3 . That any person, firm or corporation who <br /> shall violate any of the provisions of this ordinance shall , <br /> upon conviction, be fined not less than One Dollar ($1 . 00) <br /> nor more than Two Hundred Dollars ($200 . 00) for each <br /> offense . <br />
