. t .. � � � M(C�� ORDINANCE N0. � �— � AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY - 4110 WEST MAIN - ' � WHEREAS, there having been filed with the City Clerk, and by j said Clerk presented to the Council herewith , the petition under oath of Thomas R. Malenshek and M. Charlotte Hanks requesting ; that there be annexed to the City territory described as : Commencing at the Northeast corner of Lot Thirty-Nine , (39) of Fairground Homesites Addition of Outlots to the City of Decatur , as per Plat recorded in Book 802 at page 112 of the records in the Recorder ' s Office of Macon County, Illinois , thence North 89° 06 ' 18" East 603 . 3 feet to the place of beginning, thence North 89° Q6 ' 18" East 161 . 2 feet , to a point on the East line of the West 1/2 NW 1/4 of Section 18 , Township 16 North, Range 2 East of the 3rd P.M. , thence South along said East line of the W 1/2 NW 1/4 Section 18 to a point on the North Right-of-Way line of S.B. I . Route 10, (Decatur to Springfield Road) , thence Southwesterly along said North Right-of-Way line of S.B. I . Route 10 , 161 . 9 feet , thence Northerly parallel to the East line of said Fairground Homesites Addition to the place of beginning. WHEREAS , it appears said petition is signed by the owners of record of all land within such territory and by at least 51� of i the electors residing therein, and that said territory is contiguous to the City and not within the corporate limits of any � city, village or incorporated town or other municipality; and, � WHEREAS , notice of intention to take action for annexation has been given as required. � NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS : � I Section 1 . That said petition and the request thereof be, and the same are hereby approved. �
