' . � ',/, 'V 0 - �l'�� RDINANCE N0. 82 65 ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT FOR PURCHASE OF DATA PROCESSING EQUIPMENT AND PROVIDING FOR FINANCING THEREOF BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CI`�Y OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS : Section 1. That the Agreement presented to the Council herewith for the purchase of data processing equipment there- in mentioned and now being used by the City from International Business Machines Corporation be, and it is hereby, received, placed on file and approved. Section 2. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to sign said Agreement on behalf of the City and to Eause the same to be delivered to said Company. Section 3. That the issuance of a general obligation note in the form and substance as presented to the Council herewith to obtain funds for the payment of the purchase price set out in said Agreement be, and it is hereby, authorized and the City Treasurer be , and he is hereby, authorized and directed to sign and deliver said note on behalf of the City upon re- ceipt of the consideration for the same . Section 4. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to cause to be done that which he deems to be appropriate to carry out the provisions of said Agreement , the issuance of said note and the payment thereof in accordance with its terms .
