�,;�1��r��.�`��D <br /> �. <br /> : <br /> ORDINANCE NO. ��_�� <br /> AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO <br /> THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS <br /> WHEREAS, there having been filed with the City Clerk, and by <br /> said Clerk presented to the Council herewith, the petition under <br /> oath of Mary Coventry requesting that there be annexed to the <br /> City territory described as : <br /> Lot 29 of Highland Court as per plat recorded in Book <br /> 982 Page 67 of the records in the Recorder' s Office of <br /> Macon County, Illinois; and, <br /> WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners of <br /> record of all land within such territory and by at least 51� of <br /> the electors residing therein, and that said territory is contiguous <br /> to the City and not within the corporate limits of any City, <br /> Village or Incorporated Town or other municipality; and, <br /> WHEREAS , notice of intention to take action for annexativn <br /> has been given as required. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR., ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That said petition and the request thereof be, <br /> and the same are hereby approved. <br /> Section 2. That said territory _hereinabove described, along <br /> with all parts of public highways therein or next and adjacent <br /> thereto not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the same are hereby, <br /> annexed to and are incorporated into the limits of the City of <br /> Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation. <br /> Section 3. That a plat of said annexed premises is attached <br /> hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> Section 4.
