� <br /> ,��1�����i�:►�►�D <br /> ORDINANCE NO. ��� <br /> AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING STOP INTERSECTION <br /> BE IT ORDAI1CfED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That when appropriate signs are erected <br /> giving notice thereof, the driver of a vehicle on McClellan <br /> Avenue approaching Macon Street .from either direction shall <br /> stop and yield the right of way to vehicles on Macon Street <br /> which have entered the intersection of said streets or which <br /> are approaching so closely thereto as to constitute an immed- <br /> iate hazard, but said driver having so stopped and yielded <br /> the right of way may proceed at such time as a safe interval <br /> occurs. <br /> Section 2. That any person, firm or corporation who <br /> shall violate any of the provisions of this ordinance shall, <br /> upon conviction, be fined not less than One Dollar ($1. 00) <br /> nor more than Two Hundred Dollars ($200. 00) for each offense. <br /> Section 3.
