That the Plumbing Ordinance of the Citq of Decatur, ' Illinois, the same being Ordinance No. 5575, passed the 7th day of Septe�er, 197I, as thereafter a�ended, be, and the same is he reby, ' amended at Section 3. thereof, so that said section as so amended shall provide as follows: Section 3. This ardinance and said code shall be administered within the jurisdiction of the City by the Building Official thraagh the Inspection Divi�ion of the Department of Community D�v�lopment adzich is herebq de- �ignated and defined as the Administrative Authority. The Director of Community Development is hereby authorized to promulgate and p�ublish Yeasonable rules and regulations not incoasistent �aith this ordinance to facilitate, implement and caYry out the provisians, and the inteat and purpose her eof. S¢ction 2. That said ordinance at Section 9 thereof be, and the same is hereby, amended by substituting the �ords "licensed plumbertt in lieu of the words "c�rtified 13censed plumbin g contractor" the rein. Section 3. That �aid ordisiance at Section 16 thereof be, and the same is hereby, amended by adding thereto the followings Notwithstanding any oth�r provision of this ordinance, the City Manager may direct that building sevaers or building � drains, or both, shall be inspected by the Inspection Divi- sion or by the Departmemt of Public Wo�ks, or both, and the authority of either to enforce the require�nts of this or- dinance aad requiYe co�liance therewith shall be the same, as if each �rere specifically mentioned wherever appropriate therein a� to said sewers or drains.
