W!-IEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Decatur, Illinois, the sworn petition of WAYNE B. PHILLIPS AND OTHERS, requesting that premises described as: A part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 36, Township 17 North, Range 2 East of the 3rd Principal I�ridian, County of Macon and State of Illinois, more particularly described as follows: The South Half of the North Half of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 36, except the North 100 feet the reof an d except the East 30 feet thereof as previously annexed by Ordinance No. 5930 and also the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 36, except the Sout h 208.71 feet of the West 208.71 feet thereof as previsouly anne xed by Ordinance No. 4452; also all portions of public highways wi.thin or ne xt and adjacent thereto; be annexed to the City of Decatur, Illinois; and, WHEREAS, it is shown by affidavit that said petition is signed by all of the owners of recoYd of premises in said above described property and that there are no electors residing therein; and, WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Decatur, I1linois, and is not a part of any City, Village, Incorporate d Town, or other Municipality; and, WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action on annexation of said territory has been given as provided by statute.
