That the Decatur Plumbing Ordinance, the �ame being <br /> Ordinance No. 5575, pa►ssed September 7, 19?I, as amended, be, and 3t <br /> is hereby, amended at Section 2 so that said Section as so amended <br /> sha11 provide as follow�: <br /> "Section 2. Ptxrsuant to the provisions of the <br /> Illinois Plumbing Code Law and to the a�pJ.icable pro- <br /> visions of statute regardi.ng the adoption of certain <br /> codes and otheY matters by refereace, the Illinois <br /> State Plumbing Code be, and the same is hereby, adopted <br /> and made a part of this oxdinance as if the same w�ere <br /> fully set out herein, with the exc�ption that Section� <br /> 2.6.1; 10.6.1; and, the first sentence of Section 11.2.1 <br /> of said Code be deleted and not be so adopted, and the <br /> further exception that Section 11.2.2. (c) as follows be <br /> added, and Section 12.2.1 of said Code be adapted as modi- <br /> fied herein, as followsa <br /> "11.2.2. (c) U�e of vitrified clay pipe 3�s per- <br /> aitted with �anufacturers pre-forn�ed rubber or syn- <br /> thetic mat�arial �ecured to spigot and bell end of <br /> V.C.P. arith required lubrication conforming to manu- <br /> facturers specifications and pressure application to <br /> insure leakproof installation. <br /> "12.2.1. Traps Prot�c�ed. The protect icm of <br /> traps seals, except Deep Seal flcor drains 3« or <br /> more in diamet�r, shall be accomplished by the ap- <br /> prapriate u�e caf soil or �aste stacks, vents, or <br /> combinatians thereof, i,nstalled in accordance with <br /> this Chapter." <br />
