RESOLUTION NO. 2 01 6-1 17 RESOLUTION TO APPROPRIATE MOTOR FUEL TAX FUNDS TO PAY ENGINEERING COSTS FOR NBIS BRIDGE INSPECTIONS AND PRELIMINARY BRIDGE CONDITION REPORTS BY MUNICIPALITY UNDER THE ILLINOIS HIGHWAY CODE NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR,ILLINOIS: Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of$77,803.80 of Motor Fuel Tax funds for the purpose of paying the engineering costs to AECOM Technical Services, Inc. to perform NBIS bridge inspections and to prepare bridge condition reports for the subject bridges under the applicable provisions of the Illinois Highway Code. Section 2. That only those streets, highways, bridges; and operations as listed and described as part of the NBIS Bridge Inspection project, are eligible for Motor Fuel Tax funds and shall be designated as Section 16-00606-00-BI. Section 3. That the Clerk shall, as soon as practicable after the close of the period as given above, submit to the Department of Transportation on forms furnished by said Department, a certified statement showing expenditures from and balances remaining in the account(s) for this period; and, Section 4. That the Clerk shall immediately transmit two certified copies of this resolution to the district office of the Department of Transportation, at Effingham, Illinois.
