. � __ r� j , ✓ ,Y ORDINANCE NO. �L � I AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY WHEREAS, on the 7th day of October, 1971, after notice as required by law and orc�inance , the Decatur City Plan Commission held a public hearing upon the petition of ARTHUR R. CHEATHAM to rezone premises described as : The North 90 feet of Lot 3 of G. L. Davis Addition, as per Plat recorded in Book 300, page 199 of the Records in the Recorder 's Office of Macon County, I llino is ; from R-1 SINGLE FAPdILY RESIDENCE DIS'TRICT to R-2 SINGLE FAMILY RESI- DENCE DISTR ICT; a nd WHERERS, the Decatur City Plan Commission recommended that the prayer of sa id petition be denied. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY TF-� COUNCIL OF THB CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the recommendation of' the Decatur City Plan Commission be, and the same is hereby, disapproved. Section 2. That said above described premises be, and the y are hereby, rezoned from R-1 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT to R-2 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT. Section 3. That the Districts hereinabove mentioned are those districts set forth and defined in Orciinance No. 3512 of the City of Decatur, Illinois, commonly known as the 7oning Ordinan ce, and all the provisions, regulations, restrictions and requirements therein set forth shall apply to the premises above described herein. Section 4. That the zoning of said premises as set out herein shall be shown and verified on the Dis�rict Zaning D'Iap as in such Ordi- nance No. 3512 provided and said districts be, and they are hereby, amen- ded and changed as herein set forth.
