t � � � � • r � ORDINANCE NO.�j(Q-�� AN ORDINANCE MODIFYING R-3 RESIDENCE DEVELOPMENT PLAN - FORREST GREEN ADDITION WHEREAS, on the 6th day of January, 1972, aftez notice as required by law and ordinance , the Decatur City Plan Commission held a public hearing upon the petition of SOUTH SHORES DEVELOPMENT CORP. to amend and modify the R-3 Residence Development Plan theretofore authorized by the Council by Ordinance No. 5567 on August 30, 1971, as to premises in the City of Decatur, Illinois, described as: Commencing at the Northwest corner of the South Half of the Southu�st Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 26, Township 16 North, Range 2 East of the 3rd P.M. ; thence East along the North line of said South Half, 999.9 feet to a point 330 feet West of the East line of the South- west Quarter of the Sou theast Quarter of said Sec- tion 26; thence South parallel with said East line to the South line of said Section 26; thence East along the South line of said Section 26 to the Lake Decatur property line; the nce Northerly along the Lake Decatur property line to the Southeast corner of South Shores Tw�enty-second Addition, as per Plat recorded in Book 1405, pa ge 91 of the Records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois; thence Westerly and Northerly along the South lines of said South Shores Twenty-second Addition and South Shores Twenty-first Addition, as per Plat recorded in Book 1405, page 34 of the Records in the Recorder 's Office of Macon County, Illinois, to the Southeasterly line of South Shores Fifteenth Addition, as per Plat recor- ded in Book 300, page 247 of the Records in the Recor- der 's Office of Macon County, Illinois; thence Southerly and Westerly along the Southeastezly line of South Shores Fifteenth Addition and the Southeasterly and Easterly line of South Shores Seventeenth Addition, as per Plat recorded in Book 300, page 314 of the Records in t he Re- corder 's Office of Macon County, Illinois, to the South- easterly cornez of said South Shores Seventeenth Addi- tion; thence East to the point of beginning; and 6VHEREAS, said Decatur City Plan Commission did report its findings that the modifications requested as aforesaid did not sub- stantially affect the plan heretofore approved or cause substantial change therein and that the same would not adversely affect adjoin- ing property and that the modiPications requested were consistent with the intent and purpose of the original plan and the intent and purpose of the Zoning Ordina nce and did recommend that the prayer of said petition be granted and that the modification of said R-3 Resi- dence Developme nt Plan as shown on the plot pla n thereof hereto at- tached and hereby made a part hereof be authorized as requested.
