ORDINANCE NO. 2016-73 <br /> ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF STOP SIGNS AT THE <br /> INTERSECTION OF EAST MAIN STREET WITH 16th STREET FACING MAIN STREET <br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That when appropriate signs are erected giving notice thereof, the driver of a <br /> vehicle on East Main Street approaching 16th Street from the east and west shall stop and yield the <br /> right-of-way to vehicles on 16th Street which have entered the intersection of said street or which <br />� are approaching so closely thereto as to constitute an immediate hazard, but said driver having so <br /> stopped and yielded the right-of-way may proceed at such time as a safe interval occurs. <br /> Section 2.
