r• . . . � � �� , (./ • , i . . � ._ ORDINANCE NO. ��(o C� � AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRZTORY T'� THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Decatur, Illinois, the sworn petition of MERLE BOURNE AND OTHERS requesting that premises described as: The South Half of Lot Six (6) of North Side Addition of Out Lots to Decatur, as per Plat recorded in Book 335, page 183 of the Records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois ; also all portions of public highways within or next and adjacent thereto; be annexed to the City of Decatur, Illinois; and WHEREAS, it is shown by affidavit that said petition is signed �I by all of the owners of record of premises in said above described i property and by all of the electors residing therein; and II WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Decatur, Illinois, and is not a part of any City, Village, Incorporated Town or other Municipality; and WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action on anne xation of the said territory has been given as provided by statute. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CZTY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the said territory hereinabove described be , and the same is hereby, annexed to and is hereby, incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation. Section 2, That a plat of said anne xed premises is attached hereto and made a part hereof. Section 3. That the City Clerk cause certified copies of this ordinance to be respectively filed with the County Clerk and recor- ded by the Recorder of Deeds of Macon County, Illinois.
