S S lo � <br /> ORDIIVANCE RE�ONING PROPERTY <br /> WHEREAS, on the 5th day of August, 1971, after notice as <br /> required by law and ordinance, the Decatur City Plan Commission held <br /> a public hearing upon the petition of GEORGE E. TAYLOR AND OTHERS to <br /> rezone pre mises described as ; <br /> Beginning at a point 966.2 feet East of the Northwest <br /> Corner and on the North line of Lot Two (2) of a sur- <br /> vey for Jessie Senton Taylor, as per Plat recorded in <br /> Book 335, page 125 of the Records in the Recorder 's <br /> Office of Macon County, Illinois; thence North 70.97 <br /> feet along a line parallel with the East line of the <br /> Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section <br /> 4, Township 16 North, Range 2 East of the 3rd P.M. ; <br /> thence East 329.6 feet to the West right-of-way line <br /> of North Oakland Avenue; thence deflecting to the South <br /> 89 degrees 23 minutes 00 seconds for a distance of 258.57 <br /> feet along said right-of-way line of North Oakland Avenue; <br /> thence West 329.6 feet; thence North 187.6 feet to the <br /> place of beginning; <br /> from R-3 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT to B-2 COMMERCIAL DISTRICT; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the Decatur City Plan Commission recommended that <br /> the prayer of said petition be granted. <br /> NOW THERfiFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE O�UNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS; <br /> Section 1. That the recommendation of the Decatur City Plan <br /> Commission be, and the same is here by, approved. <br /> Section 2. That said above described premises be , and they <br /> are hereby, rezoned from R-3 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DIS7RICT to B-2 <br /> CONA4ERCIAL DISTRICT. <br /> Section 3. That the Districts hereinabove mentioned are <br /> those districts set forth and defined in Ordina nce No. 3512 of the City <br /> of Decatur, Illinois, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, and all <br /> the provisions, regulations, restrictions and requirements therein set <br /> forth shall apply to the premises above described herein. <br /> Section 4.
