WI-IEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Decatur , Illinois, the sworn petition of ALBERTA MONT- C�OMERY requesting that premises described as: The North 390 feet of the fiast 465 feet of the North- urest Quarter (NWi4) of Section Thirty-four (34) Township Seventeen (17) North, Range Two (2) Ea st of the 3rd P.I"I. ; in Macon County, Illinois; also that portion of West Mound Road lying next and adjacent thereto; be anne xed to the City of Decatur, Illinois; and WI-�F�AS, it is shown by affidavit that said petition is signed by all of the owners of record of premises in said above described property and by all of the electors residing therein; and WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Decatur, Illinois, and is not a part of any City, Village, Incor- porated Town or other Municipality; and Wf-�REAS, notice of intention to take action on annexation of said territory has been given as provided by statute. NOW THEREFORE, BE •IT ORDAINED BY TI-IE COUNCIL OF THE CTTY OF DECATUR, ILLZNOIS: Section 1. That the said territory hereinabove described be, and the same is hereby, annexed to and is hereby incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation. Section 2. That a plat of said anne xed premises is attached he reto and made a part hereof. Section 3. That the City Clerk cause ceYtified copies of this ordinance to be respectively filed with the County Clerk and recorded by the Recorder of Deeds of ►Hacon County, Illinois.
