J `J�� AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Decatur, Illinois, the sworn petition of CHARLES W. C�DODEN and ELOISE M, O�ODEN requesting that premises described as : Lot Thirty-Two (32) of Huston Heights, as per Plat recorded in Book 300 page 220 of the Re- cords in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois; also all those parts of arthur Court and Mound Road lying next and adjacent thereto; be annexed to the City of Decatur, Illinois; and WHEREAS, it is shown by affidavit that said petition is signed by all of the owners of record of premises in said above described property and by all of the electors residing in said territory; and WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Decatur, Illinois, and is not a part of any City, Village, Incor- porated Town or other Municipality; and WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action on annexa- tion of said territory has been given as provided by Statute. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY TI� COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the said territory hereinabove de- scribed be, an d the same is he reby, anne xed to and is here by in- corporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation. Section 2. That a plat of said annexed premises is attached hereto and made a part hereof. Section 3. That the City Clerk cause certified copies of this ordinance to be respectively filed with the County Clerk and recorded by the Recorder of Deeds of Macon County, Illinois.
