J � AN ORDINANCE CHANGING EXISTING PARKING RATBS AND ESTABLISHING NEW RATES FOR A PORTION OF MVPS LOT #9 BE IT ORDAIN ED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECAIV R� ILLINOIS: Section 1. That in accordance with, and subject to, the applicable provisions of Chapter 30 of the City Code and the regulations, rules and penalties provided in Ordinance No. 4998, when appropriate parking meters are installed thereat, those parking spaces provided in MVPS Lot #9 next and adjacent to the south line of East North Street and those spaces next and adjacent to the east line of North Franklin Street and those spaces in the West Half of the tier of spaces in the central por- tion of said I-ot #9 shall be limited to a continuous maximum parking period for vehicular parking of 2 hours and said areas in said lot be, and they are hereby, designated as 2 hour parking zones. Section 2. That parking meters shall be installed in • said zones which shall register not to exceed 2 hours upon the in- sertion therein of the proper coin at the rate of 20 minutes for each nickel, 40 minutes for each dime and 1 hour and 40 minutes for each quarter of coin of the United States. Section 3. That said meters shall be used and said maximum time limit shall be observed between the hours of 8 A.M. and 6 P.M. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday of each week and the hours of 8 A.M. and 9 P.M. on Monday and Friday of each week except upon those holidays specified in said Chapter 30 of the City Code. Section 4. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances insofar as the same conflict with the provisions hereof be, and the same are hereby repealed.
