RESOLUTION NO.R2017-54 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION <br /> OF A CONTRACT WITH TYROLT INC.,D/B/A DUNN COMPANY FOR <br /> LOCAL MOTOR FUEL TAX STREET IMPROVEMENTS (ASPHALT) <br /> CITY PROJECT 2017-25 <br /> NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF DECATUR,ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the tabulation of bids received for City Project 2017-25, Local Motor <br /> Fuel Tax Street Improvements (Asphalt)project be, and they are hereby, received and placed on <br /> file. <br /> Section 2. That the bid of Tyrolt, Inc., d/b/a Dunn Company be accepted and a contract <br /> awarded accordingly and that said contract between Dunn Company and the City of Decatur is <br /> for a total amount of$2,222,154.11; which includes $2,142,159.11 in Local Motor Fuel Tax <br /> funds, $4,095.00 in Water Main Replacement funds, and $75,900.00 in Sewer funds <br /> Section 3. That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized and <br /> directed to execute a contract between the City of Decatur, Illinois, and Tyrolt, Inc., d/b/a Dunn <br /> Company, for said plan, in the amount of$2,142,159.11 in Local Motor Fuel Tax funds, <br /> $4,095.00 in Water Main Replacement funds, and $75,900.00 in Sewer funds; for a total amount <br /> of$2,222,154.11 <br /> PRESENTED and ADOPTED this 17th day of April, 2017. <br /> i� f <br /> Julie Moore Wolfe, or <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Debra G.13right0ity Clerk <br />
