RESOLUTION NO. R2017-123 <br /> RESOLUTION TO APPROPRIATE ADDITIONAL MOTOR FUEL TAX FUNDS TO <br /> PAY THE CITY'S PORTIONS OF CONSTRUCTION COSTS AND CONSTRUCTION <br /> ENGINEERING COSTS FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO LAKE SHORE DRIVE AND 22ND <br /> STREET (IL RTE 105)FROM OLD RTE 51 TO U.S. RTE 36 <br /> BY MUNICIPALITY UNDER THE ILLINOIS HIGHWAY CODE <br /> CITY PROJECT 2014-01 <br /> NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF DECATUR,ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated the additional sum of$8,185.30 of Motor <br /> Fuel Tax funds for the purpose of paying the City's share of Motor Fuel Tax eligible <br /> construction costs and the City's portion of Motor Fuel Tax eligible construction engineering <br /> costs for the Lake Shore Drive and 22nd Street(IL Rte 105) Improvements project under the <br /> applicable provisions of the Illinois Highway Code. <br /> Section 2. That only those sidewalks, streets, highways, bridges; and operations as listed <br /> and described as part of the Lake Shore Drive and 22nd Street(IL Rte 105) Improvements <br /> project, are eligible for Motor Fuel Tax funds and shall be designated as Section 14-00401-00- <br /> TL <br /> Section 3. That the Clerk shall, as soon as practicable after the close of the period as <br /> given above, submit to the Department of Transportation on forms furnished by said Department, <br /> a certified statement showing expenditures from and balances remaining in the account(s) for <br /> this period; and <br /> Section 4.
