Deft'nitions of Incidents: <br /> 1. ASSAULT: The intentional use of physical injury(impairment of physical conditions or substantial <br /> pain)to another person,with or without a weapon or dangerous instrument. <br /> 2. CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY. Intentional or reckless damage to the property of another <br /> person without permission. <br /> 3. DISORDERLY CONDUCT.• Intentionally causing public inconvenience, annoyance or alarm or <br /> recklessly creating a risk thereof by fighting(without injury)or in violent or threatening behavior, or <br /> making unreasonable noise, shouting abuse, misbehaving, disturbing an assembly or meeting of <br /> persons,or creating hazardous conditions by an act which serves no legitimate purpose. <br /> 4. HARASSMENT.• any unwelcome verbal,written or physical conduct that either denigrates or shows <br /> hostility or aversion towards a person that: <br /> a. Has the purpose or effect of creating an intimidating,hostile or offensive work environment. <br /> b. Has the purpose or effect of unreasonably interfering with an employee's work performance. <br /> c. Affects an employee's employment opportunities or compensation. <br /> d. May include: intentionally striking, shoving or kicking another or subjecting another person <br /> to physical contact, or threatening to do the same (without physical injury). Also, using <br /> abusive or obscene language or following a person in or about a public place, or engaging in <br /> a course of conduct which alarms or seriously annoys another person. <br /> 5. SEXUAL HARASSMENT.• Any unwelcome sexual advance, request for sexual favors, or verbal, <br /> written or physical conduct of a sexual nature by a manager,supervisor,co-worker or third party. <br /> 6. DISCRIMINATION. Occurs whenever an employment" decision for a member of any of the <br /> protected classes, is based on the employee's membership in that class rather than on the employee's <br /> job performance. Discriminatory practices can also include: <br /> a. Harassment—see above. <br /> b. Retaliation—against an individual for filing a charge of discrimination, participating in an <br /> investigation or opposing discriminatory practices. <br /> 7. LARCENY Wrongfully taking, depriving or withholding property from another (no force <br /> involved). Victim may or may not be present. <br /> S. MENACING. Intentionally placing or attempting to place another person in fear of imminent <br /> serious physical injury. <br /> 9. RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT. Subjecting individuals to danger by recklessly engaging in <br /> conduct which creates substantial risk of serious physical injury. <br /> 10. ROBBERY.• Forcible stealing of another's property by use of threat of immediate physical force. <br /> (Victim is present and aware of theft.) <br /> 11. SEX OFFENSE: <br /> a. Public Lewdness: Exposure of sexual organs to others. <br /> b. Sexual Abuse: Subjecting another to sexual contact without consent. <br /> c.
