f <br /> • Humanitarian Impact on the City: <br /> .Anyone who knew Leslie T. Alien knows he loved giving back <br /> his community. He dedicated numerous years at Decatur <br /> Memorial Hospital and as an employee here Z have had many <br /> People come up and tell me how much he was loved here. His <br /> smile was contagious through the halls and the hard work he <br /> did each and every day never went unnoticed. If he wasn't <br /> volunteering at the hospital, you would see him involved at his <br /> church Grace United Methodist. My grandfather even gave his <br /> time to Decatur Salvation Army Corps, Habitat for Humanity, <br /> Rotary Club, and the Golden K's. After retirement, you could <br /> still find him helping in other cities in the area as a fill in City <br /> Manager until the position was filled. My grandfather has <br /> received countless awards including, but not limited to: <br /> Outstanding City Manager of the Year, Sertoma Service to <br /> Mankind, First member of Golden K to attain 10,000 hours of <br /> community service award, and many others. <br />
