Addis <br /> Subject: Special Provision for Compensable Delay Costs <br /> Date: April 21, 2017 <br /> This special provision was developed by the IDOT/Industry Joint Cooperative <br /> Committee to allow the department to pay for escalated material costs, <br /> escalated labor costs, extended project overhead, and extended traffic control <br /> when a contract delay meets certain criteria. <br /> This special provision should be inserted into all contracts. <br /> The districts should include the BDE Check Sheet marked with the applicable <br /> special provisions for the August 4, 2017 and subsequent lettings. The Project <br /> Development and Implementation Section will include a copy in the contract. <br /> This special provision will be available on the transfer directory April 21, 2017. <br /> 80384m <br />
