Addis VA <br /> Subject: Special Provision for Lights on Barricades <br /> Date: September 29, 2017 <br /> This special provision was developed by the Bureau of Safety Programs and <br /> Engineering as a result of research findings and Meld observations regarding <br /> the need to provide lights on certain temporary traffic control devices taking into <br /> consideration improvements of sheeting materials used on those devices. <br /> This special provision should be inserted into all contracts. <br /> The districts should include the BDE Check Sheet marked with the applicable <br /> special provisions for the January 19, 2018 and subsequent lettings.
