City Of Decatur
Executive Summary (Cont.)
coverage line, we have obtained quotes for higher liability limits. We strongly
recommend you consider these options.
Last year we did an extensive marketing of your boiler/equipment breakdown
coverage. We approached three carriers and Chubb Insurance gave us a premium
reduction. For 2018/19 with the slight increase in TIVs, Chubb has kept the rate flat.
The 2018-19 crime coverage renewal remained flat.
The city of Decatur's excess property is written by Travelers Insurance Company.
The city's TIVs (Total Insured Values) saw a slight increase over expiring. In addition,
we did approach an alternative carrier, Fireman's Fund Insurance Company. They gave
us a rate reduction. Our current carrier, Travelers, also gave us a rate reduction.
Based upon the partnership the city has built with Travelers, we recommend renewal
with Travelers.
Overall, the City of Decatur's 2018/19 renewal pricing, coverage, and levels
remained stable and competitive.
On behalf of the entire Gallagher Service Team, we would like to thank you again
for giving us the opportunity to continue to be of service to the City of Decatur and to
continue our long term relationship. We value your loyalty and your cooperation
Yours truly,
Michael McHugh
Ted Miller
Tia Incapreo
Cary Peters
Don Smolinski
Debbie Champion
Arthur J.Gallagher Risk Management Services,Inc.
3
