The scape of work has been broken dawn into the following task: <br /> Task 00100 Survey and Field Work <br /> Task 00200 Phase I Update—VE CR ABC <br /> Task 00300 Reparts <br /> Task 00400 Phase II Design-Plans Special Provisions and Estimates <br /> Task Op5Q0 City and Stakehalder Caordination <br /> Task 00600 Project Management <br /> Task OQ700 QAJQC ITR <br /> Proiect Understandin�and Scope vf Services <br /> It is our understanding that a Phase I Combined Design Report Secti4n 09-00933-00-BR was prepared dated <br /> March 2QI5 for Brush College Roadway from just South of Williams Street to just north of Faries Parkway <br /> including two averpasses aver Narfolk Southern Railroad. The project was broken into three constructible <br /> segments. Segment Three included an averpass over Faries Parkway and Narfa3k Southern Railroad at the <br /> intersection of Faries Parkway. F�mding for this third segment was obtained. As segment two,an overpass <br /> aver the Norfolk Southern Raiiroad Yard,has yet to be canstructed tnadifications ta the Phase I design will <br /> be requircd for the third segment to tie into the existing gecrtnetry of Brush College Roadway so�xth of Faries <br /> Parkway. Coardinatian meetings and Value Engineering and Constructability Reviews may iead to <br /> additional agreed upan modifications to the Phase I design. <br /> Roadwav Reconstraction Li�nits <br /> It is anticipated that the project lirnits wil!extend from statzon 50+00 just south of Olive Street to station <br /> 78+00 jast north of Harrison Street.The work will include impravements to Faries Parkway station 205+00 <br /> to 235+50,and a connector roadway between Faries Parkway and the new Brush College Road overpass. <br /> Access raadway improvements will include 7ames Street,a new access roadway for Harrison Ave and access <br /> raadway from Harrison Ave to the Lutheran Cemetery. The scope of work will require updates to the design <br /> presented in the Phase I Com6ined Design Report far IDC1T approval,ROW survey and plat preparation and <br /> Phase II plan specs and estirnates to be prepared. Phase III construction assistance services are to be <br /> negotiated under a separate agreement or amendtnent. RQW plats prepared wiil be used by the Cities <br /> property negotiator for property negotiations.Work also rec�uires track realignrnent for Canadian National <br /> Railroad. Plans a€�d contract documents will be prep�red in accardance with Iliinois Department af <br /> Transportation(IDOT),Federal Highway Adnninistration (FHWA),Norfolk Southern Railroad and Canadian <br /> National Railroad policies. <br /> Scope 9-21-18 A-1 <br />
