He also re�i�wed changes to City <br /> Code Chapter 6�7 which adapts the Building Ccade and de�ai{s any changes specific to Decatur. <br /> Jason Krefisinger gave an overview of changes fram the proposed Internationai Residential <br /> Building Cade to the 2015 ver$ion af this Cade. Ne aiso reviewed changes ta City Code Chapter <br /> 67.2 which adopts the Residentia! Bui(ding Cnde and details changes specific to Decatur. <br /> It uvas explained by R�ndy.fohner that both of these Codes were gaing ta be adopted "as is" <br /> with€ew changes specific to decatur which meant fihat it shc�uld be�asier for a contractor, <br /> developer, or architect ta design ar build in Decatur as they wouid nat need to alfier their plans <br /> to be compliant w"rth aur specific char�ges. <br /> It was alsa explained�hat the Coc1e Bt�oks had been presented to Cot�ncil fo�-reviewing and <br /> �Eing and that the neact step would be for the Counci[to vote an approving the adoption of <br /> these Codes. <br /> After sorne discussit�n abvut the propc�sed changes it was moved and sectrnded�Munson/C?1sor�} <br /> to recommend �pproval the adoption c�f City Codes 67 and 67.� as presented by stafF. Motian <br /> � carried unanimously.The recommendatiQn will be forwarded to the City Cduncil far <br /> consider�tion in canjunction other praposed building code updates. <br /> There being na further business,the meeting adjourned at 4 P.M. <br />
