Descri�tion of the Minorit,�Farticipation Gaals Pragram: The City of Decatur encourages <br /> the participation of minorities and Minority Business Enterprises(MBEs)for City-funded <br /> public works contracts. To comply with Chapter 28, Section 10,af the City CQde, <br /> contractors will make a good faith effort to meet the fallowing minimum goals far all <br /> work within this project requiring the payment of Prevailing Wages: <br /> A. Subcc�ntracting is not required,but if subcantracting oppt�mxnities are available, l0°l� <br /> of the tatal dallar arnount of the contract should be perfo�rned by Minority Business <br /> Enterprises. <br /> B. Evidence the contractor received no proposals or inquiries from qttalified MBE ar <br /> firrns that employ�ninority wgrkers in response to a gaad faith effart to secure <br /> participation. <br /> III. Record Keepin�and Reporting_ For work items requiri�g Prevailing Wages,the Przrne <br /> Contractor ar�d subcontractors agree to maintain records demonstrative of their good fazth <br /> efforts to comply with the participation goals identified in the City Code.
