SECTI4N III. CITY'S RESP4NSIBILITIES The City shall, A. FLT�E�NISH RE4UIREMENTS ��ND LIMITATIONS. Provide all criteria and fuit information as to the City's requirements for the Project,including abjectives and constraints,space,capacity and performance requirements,fle�bzlity and expandability,ecanomic parameters and any budgetary lirnitatians;and furnish copies ofatl design and consh-uction standards as required. $. FURNISH INFORMATION. Assist the Prafessional Service Provider by placing at the Professional Service Provider's disposal all available information pertinent to the Praject including previous reports and any other data relative to design or cans#ruction afthe Project. C. FURNISH TECHNICAL INFClRM.F,.TI01'J. Furnish ta the Professional Service Provider, as required for performance of the Professional Service Provider's Basic Services{except to the extent provided otherwise in Exhibit A, "Scope of Work"),data prepared by or services of others, including without limitation,care borings,probings and subsurface explorations,hydrographic surveys, taboratory tests and inspections of samptes,materials and equipment;appropriate professionat interpretations af all af the foregoing;environrnental assessment and impact staternents;property, boundary,easement,right-of-way,topographic and utility surveys;properiy descriptions;zaning, deed and other land use restriction;all ofwhich the Professional Service Provider rnay rely upon in performing the Professional Service Provider's services. D. SLJRVEYS AND REFER.ENCE POlNTS. Provide field control surveys and estabtish reference points and base lines excepfi to the extent provided atherwise in Section II to enable the Contractar(s) to praceed with the layout of the work. E. ACCESS TC�PROPERTY. Arrange for access to and make all provisions for the Professional Service Provider to enter apon public and private property as reqaired far the Professional Service Provider ta perform the Prafessianal Service Provider's services. F. REVIEW DOCUMENTS. Exarnine all studies,repvrts, sketches,drawings, specifications, praposals and ather documents presented by the Prafessiflnal Service Provider,o�tain adviee c�f an attorney, insurance counselcrr and other consultants as the City's Representative deems appropriate for such examination and render in writing decisions pertaining thereta within a reasonable time sa as not to delay the services of the Professional Service Pravider. G. dBTAIN APPROVALS .f�.ND PERMITS. Furnish approvats ar�d permits fram alt governmental authorities having jurisdictian over the Project and such approvals and cansents from others as may be necessary for completion af the Froject. H. ACCOUNTING LEGAL��ND INSLTIZANCE SERVICE. Provide such accounting, independent cast estimating and insurance counseling services as may be required far the Project, such legal services as the City's Representative may require or the Frafessianal Service Provider may reasonably request with regard to legal issues pertaining to the Project including any that may be raised by the Contractor(s),such auditing service as the City's Representative may require to ascertain how or for what purpose any Cantrac#or has used the moneys paid to him under the construction contract,and such inspection services as the City's Representative may require to ascertain that the Confiractor(s)are complying wi#h any law,rule or regulation applicable to their performance of the wark except as otherwise provided in Seetion II.
