<br /> Illinois,62764. Appraval of the estimates and generai layout plans shauld be obfained prior ta the cammencement of railroad
<br /> related work. Ali railroad related work is also subject to approvai be the!}linois Cammerce Commissian{ICC}. Final inspection for
<br />� railroad related work should be coordinated through appropriate IDOT District Bureau o#Loea{Roads and Streets o�ce.
<br /> Plans and preemption times for signal related work tha#will be interconnected with traffic signals shall be submitted to the ICC far
<br /> review and appravai priar to the commencement of work. Signai related work involving interconnects with state maintained tra�c
<br /> signals should alsa be coardinated wiih the tDOT's Dis#ric#Bureau of Operations.
<br /> 7he LPA is responsible far the paymant af the raitroad refated expenses in accardance with the LPA/railroad agreement priar to
<br /> requesting reimbursement from lDQT. Requests for reimbursement shoufd be sent to the appropriafe IDOT District Bureau of Lacal
<br /> Roads and Streets office.
<br /> Engineer's Payment Estimates shalt be in accordance with the Division of Cost on page one.

<br /> jusfiiy ctsntinued federal funding an inactive prajects. 23 CFR 530.106{a}{5}defines an inac#ive praject as a projecf which no
<br /> expendi#ures have been charged against Federa!funds for the past twelve{12)months_
<br /> To keep projects active,invoicing musE accur a minimum of ane fime within any given twelve(12j month periad. However,to
<br /> ensure adequate processing#ime,the firs#invoica shall be submitted ta the BTATE within six{6}months of the federa!autharization
<br /> date. Subsequent invoices wili be submitted in intervals not to exceed six(6)months.
