agree that her work during irregular hours and at other locations are of equal importance and are <br /> included in the normal daily duties and responsibilities of the Interim City Manager. Employee <br /> shall perform such work at hours beyond regular business hours so in order to provide Employee <br /> with a reasonable limitation to the total number of hours required of her in the given week, <br /> Employee may reasonably determine her hours necessary to the position, but in no event shall <br /> the number of hours worked be less than forty(40)hours per week. <br /> 7. EMPLOYEE'S SALARY. Employee shall receive$7,500.00 in addition to the <br /> annual salary Employee currently receives in her current position. The additional compensation <br /> shall be paid in weekly installments during the course of this Interim Agreement, subject to <br /> normal and customary tax withholdings. <br /> 8. VACATION LEAVE. Employee shall remain entitled to the same number of <br /> days of paid vacation leave during the Interim Period as Employee is entitled in her current <br /> position under the policies and plans of the City. Therefore,Employee's paid vacation leave <br /> shall not be altered,modified, or changed from that when she possesses in her current position. <br /> 9. SICK LEAVE. Employee shall remain entitled to the same number of days of <br /> paid sick leave during the Interim Period as Employee is entitled in her current position under the <br /> policies and plans of the City. Therefore,Employee's paid sick leave shall not be altered, <br /> modified,or changed from that which she possesses in her current position. Employee shall not <br /> be entitled to any cash payment,or payment of any type of paid sick leave days unused at the end <br /> of the Interim Period,and such paid sick leave days may only be utilized for illness of Employee <br /> or her immediate family members and will not be considered paid vacation days. <br /> 10. BUSINESS EXPENSES. The City shall reimburse Employee for all reasonable <br /> employment-related expenses,subject to administrative policies concerning such as currently <br /> exist or as amended. Such expenses include,but are not lirnited to the following: air travel;taxi <br /> and auto rental; lodging;meals; memberships and subscriptions to publications of the <br /> International City Management Association and the Illinois City Management Association; <br /> registration fees for training programs offered by such associations; and travel and incidental <br /> costs relating to attendance at such training programs or conferences and meetings of such <br /> associations. It is specifically understood that the above membership and participation in <br /> training,conference and meetings are to be undertaken by Employee, at her request and at the <br /> approval and/or request of the City Council,and shall be considered as part of the duties and <br /> responsibilities of Employee hereunder. Employee shall be reimbursed for other reasonable <br /> expenses as the City shall approve by lawful action of the City Council. <br /> 1 l. GROUP INSURANCE BENEFITS. The City,subject to the limitation provided <br /> for herein, shall continue to provide Employee with group life insurance and employee and <br /> dependent health, hospitalization and dental coverage equal to such insurance or benefits <br /> provided other management employees of the City. Notwithsta.nding the foregoing, it is agreed <br /> and understood that the City may, at its sole option,modify,or eliminate said insurance or <br /> benefits,or any portions thereof,provided that Employee is treated no differently than other <br /> management employees of the City. <br /> 12. HOLIDAYS. Employee shall receive the same paid holidays which are afforded <br /> to other management employees of the City. <br /> Page 2 of=� <br />
