� <br /> FAP 323 (U.S. 36) <br /> Section: (13Z,13Z-1)RS-3 <br /> CITY Section: 19-00932-00-TL <br /> Macon County <br /> Job No.: C-97-003-15 <br /> Agreement No.: JN 719 002 <br /> Contract No.: 74702 <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> This agreement entered into this�5�^day of rr' � , A.D., 2019, by and between <br /> the STATE OF ILLINOIS, acting by and through its DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATiUN <br /> hereinafter called the STATE, and the CITY OF DECATUR, in the State of Illinois, hereinafter <br /> called the CITY. <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> WHEREAS, the STATE, in order to facilitate the free flow of traffic and insure safety to <br /> the motoring public, is desirous of improving approximateiy 6,310 feet (1.2 miles) of FAP 323 ( <br /> U.S. 36), State Section (13Z,13Z-1)RS-3, CITY Section 19-00932-00-TL from its intersection with <br /> Fairview Avenue (IL 48) east to its intersection with Church Street in Decatur, by milling and <br /> resurfacing, patching, repairing curb, gutter and medians, constructing Americans with Disabilities <br /> Act (ADA) compliant curb ramps, modernizing or replacing existing traffic signal systems and by <br /> performing all other work necessary to complete the section in accordance with the approved <br /> plans and specifications; and <br /> WHEREAS, the improvements to FAP 323 (U.S. 36) shal) consist of: <br /> 1. FAIRVIEW AVENUE (IL 48) TO FAP 323 (U.S. 36) ALONG WEST ELDORADO STREET: <br /> Mill and resurFace the existing 50-foot edge-to-edge pavement width, retaining the existing <br /> curbs and providing for four 12-foot wide through traffic lanes,two in each direction(pavement <br /> width varies at the intersection of Fairview Avenue and Eldorado Street); modernize exisfing <br /> traffic signals, modify existing emergency priority system (traffic signal pre-empt) and improve <br /> curb ramps to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) at the intersection of <br /> Fairview Avenue and West Eldorado Street. <br /> 2. STRUCTURE NO. 058-0127 (IL 48 OVERPASS) TO WEST ELDORADO STREET ALONG <br /> FAP 323 (U.S. 36): Mill and resurface the existing 38-foot edge-to-edge pavement width in <br /> -1- <br />
