INTERGOVERNMENTAL LEASE AGREEMENT <br /> — LADDER TRUCK— <br /> BETWEEN THE CITIES OF DECATUR AND CHARLESTON, ILLINOIS <br /> THIS INTERGOVERNMENTAL LEASE AGREEMENT (herein referred to <br /> as "lease" entered into this "� <br /> ) �; day of , 2019, by and between the <br /> City of Decatur, Illinois, an Illinois Municipal Corporation, (hereinafter referred to <br /> as "Decatur") and the City of Charleston, Illinois, an Illinois Municipal Corporation <br /> (hereinafter referred to as "Charleston"), (cdllectively the "parties") <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Decatur is a home rule Illinois Municipal <br /> Corporation duly organized and operating under the laws of the State of Illinois, <br /> including but not limited to the Illinois Municipal Code (65 ILCS 5/1-1-1 et seq.), <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Charleston is an Illinois Municipal Corporation duly <br /> organized and operating under the laws of the State of Illinois, including but not <br /> limited to the Illinois Municipal Code (65 ILCS 5/1-1-1 et seq.), fully authorized to <br /> provide fire suppression and other emergency services, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Decatur owns a certain fire apparatus commonly <br /> referred to as a ladder truck, not currently performing governmental services in <br /> the City of Decatur, and is willing to lease the same to the City of Charleston <br /> pursuant to the terms and conditions herein set forth, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Charleston is presently in need of a certain fire <br /> apparatus commonly referred to as a ladder truck, for use in performing fire <br /> suppression and emergency governmental services in the City of Charleston, <br /> 1 <br />
