Exhibit A <br /> CITY OF DECATUR, �LLINOIS <br /> PROFESSIONAL SERVICE� AGREEMENT <br /> This Agreernent("Agreement"}is made and entered into between the City of Decatur,Illinois,an Illinois <br /> home rule municipat corporation{"City"}, and: <br /> Hanson Prafessional Services Inc. <br /> {"Professionai Service Provider"},for and in consideration of the mutuaI cavenants and pronnises and <br /> good and valuable consideratron contained hereiaa. <br /> SCOPE OF WClRK <br /> The professional engineering services obta.ined by the City under this Agreement cnncern the Project ' <br /> ("Project")as set farth in the attached as Exhibit"A",incorporated herein by refere��ce and made a part of <br /> this Agreement hereof: <br /> SECTION I. GENER.AL <br /> A. PROFESSIC}NAL SERVICE PROVIDER. The Profassional Service Provider sha11 pravide <br /> professional services for the Ciiy in all phases of the Project,serve as the City's professional ' <br /> representative for the Project as set forth herein and shall give professional consultation and adviae ta <br /> the City's Representative during the performance of services hereunder. All services provided <br /> hereunder shall be performed by the Professional Service Provider in accordance with generaily <br /> accepted standards. <br /> B. NOTICE TO PRUCEELI. The Professianal Service Provider shali only be�in performance of each <br /> Phase of work required hereunder upon receipt of a written Notice to Praeeed for that Phase,as <br /> shown it�E�chibit B. <br /> C. TIME. The Prafessianal Service Pravider shall begin work on each successive phase within thirty <br /> (30)days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed for each phase and shall devote such personnel, <br /> technica!equipment,computer time and materials to the Praject sa as to complete each phase within <br /> the time limits set forth in E�chibit C;Project Timeline. <br /> D. CITY'S R�PRESENTATI�E.
