I2equest for a stop sign at the intersection of North Graceland Avenue a�nd <br /> West Taft Street facing West Taft Street. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> City staff received a request ta put up a stop sign facing West Taft Street at Narth GraceIand <br /> Avenue. No accidents have occurred at this intersection within the last three years, but because <br /> this is a three-way intersection with Graceland being the through street,vehicles an Taft are <br /> required ta yield to vehicles on Graceland. The sight lines are partially obstructed by vegetation <br /> and utility poles which require an extra arnount of care be used by rnotorists on Taft before <br /> pulling out on Graceland. For this reason, City staff recomrnends instaliing a stop sign at the <br /> intersection of North Graceland Avenue and West Taft Street,with the sign facing West Taft <br /> Street. <br /> Ed Hurst motioned to move forward with installing a stap sign at the intersection of Narth <br /> Graceland Avenue and West Taft Street, with the sign facing West Taft Street. Seconded by <br /> Joselyn Strewart, and on call of the roll, Commission Members Braderick, Caswell, Hurst, <br /> Wigginton and Stewart voted aye. The chairman declared the motion carried. <br />
