RESOLUTION NO. R2020—�( <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING DECATUR AREA CONVENTION & <br /> VISITORS BUREAU AGREEMENT 2020-2022 <br /> WHEREAS,the CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS, an Illinois municipal corporation and <br /> body politic ("City") is a unit of local government pursuant to Article VII, Section 6 of the <br /> Illinois Constitution of 1970; and, <br /> WHEREAS,the City finds it to be in the best interests of the City to formalize <br /> and enter into an agreement with the Decatur Area Convention&Visitors Bureau for purposes <br /> of marketing and promoting the City of Decatur as a destination to eat, work,visit, and play. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the Decatur Area Convention&Visitors Bureau Agreement presented to <br /> the City Council as attached heretofore as Exhibit A,between the City of Decatur and Decatur <br /> Area Convention&Visitors Bureau, be hereby approved as presented. <br /> Section 2.
