To whom it may concern,
This letter is in regards to obtaining a handicapped parking space in front of my home. The
reason that I am seeking this is that I am having issues finding adequate parking close to my
home. I do not have a driveway. There is a short alley that runs past my home, however there are
often vehicles parked.there that prevent me from parking, as well as cars that will block me in
after I have already parked. There is room for 2 vehicles to park in front of my house, however
neighbors will often park between the two spaces so that I cannot park there. When they aren't
doing this, they will park both their vehicles there instead of using their driveway. I have
attempted speaking to my neighbors to no avail. I suffer from spondylitis, arthritis in my hip and
foot, and nerve issues in my leg which requires me to use a cane and for which my doctor has
seen fit to issue me a handicapped placard. At this time, seeing as the parking in the alley is hit
and miss, parking on forest in front of my home is the best option. I would appreciate any
assistance in this matter.
Sincerely,
Michael Rose-Bleavins
