Customers will be permitted to carry and consume alcoholic beverages only within the <br /> event street closure area during the Christmas Walk hours. Signs will be posted that <br /> alcoholic beverages are not allowed outside the event street closure area. <br /> No additional permits or fees will be required from downtown establishments by the City of <br /> Decatur for this event. <br /> Participating Merchants (as of Oct. 15): <br /> All Things Beautiful Decatur Area Arts Robbie's <br /> Capellis Studio & Council Shop on Main <br /> Spa Giggles Taproot <br /> Coney McKane's Let's Pain with Liz Theatre 7 <br /> Dali Bliss Linenwood <br /> Debbie's Dance Boutique <br /> Studio Murphy& Co. <br /> Accommodations for Customers: <br /> Picnic Tables: <br /> • Placed in the street; both Prairie and Merchant St. (8 tables each street). <br /> Food Trucks: <br /> Food trucks will be permitted to set up within the street closure area to <br /> accommodate customers unable to find indoor seating as limited by health <br /> guidelines during Christmas Walk hours (3-8pm). <br /> Two food trucks (TBD) at the east end of Prairie St. <br /> One food truck (Coffee Connection) at south end of Merchant St. <br /> Transportation: <br /> Two trolleys will be made available by the City of Decatur to drive a predetermined <br /> route with established stops (see attached map) during the Christmas Walk hours. <br /> Santa Claus: <br /> The Transfer House will be open, decorated, and set up to allow customers to visit <br /> with Santa Claus while observing appropriate physical distancing. <br /> The Transfer House will serve as "Santa's House"throughout the holiday season, <br /> with established dates and times managed by the Decatur Area Convention and <br /> Visitors Bureau. <br /> Live entertainment (TBD): <br /> Stationary and strolling entertainers on Merchant and Prairie St. and in Central Park, <br /> to include a live reindeer in NE corner of Central Park. <br /> Downtown Holiday Schedule <br /> Date Task <br /> Nov. 6 Install lights throughout downtown <br /> Nov. 6 Deliver Elf House - NE corner of Main and Main <br /> Nov. 7 Install additional garland/bows/lights <br /> Nov. 21 Install Christmas Card Lane - 300 block N.
