CITY COUNCIL MEMORANDUM <br /> NO.2020- <br /> December 1,2020 <br /> TO: Honorable Mayor Moore Wolfe and City Council <br /> FROM: Scot Wrighton, City Manager <br /> Wendy Morthland, Corporation Counsel <br /> Amy Waks, Assistant Corporation Counsel <br /> SUBJECT: Amendment to Chapter 54.1 —Video Gaming License <br /> RECOMMENDATION: In light of the pandemic caused by COVID-19, staff requests that Council <br /> pass the proposed ordinance amendment regarding Chapter 54.1, Section 4, extending the <br /> commencement date for video gaming licenses from January 1, 2021 to March 1, 2021. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTIONS: There are no known or expected objections. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Amy Waks,Assistant Corporation Counsel, at 424-2807. <br /> BUDGET/TIME IMPLICATIONS: None <br />
