CITY OF DECATUR <br /> Section No.: 19-00904-00-BR <br /> Project No.: YBF 1(666) <br /> Job No.: C-97-107-21 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A LOCAL PUBLIC AGENCY AGREEMENT FOR <br /> FEDERAL PARTICIPATION WITH THE STATE OF ILLINOIS TO IMPROVE THE <br /> CENTER STREET BRIDGE OVER STEVENS CREEK <br /> SN: 058-3061 <br /> CITY PROJECT 2019-04 <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Decatur endeavors to improve Center Street by the replacement of a <br /> bridge superstructure over Stevens Creek,known to the Illinois Department of Transportation as <br /> MFT Section Number 19-00904-00-BR and State Job Number C-97-107-21. <br /> WHEREAS, the cost of said improvement has necessitated the use of Federal funds, and; <br /> WHEREAS, the Federal funding source requires a match of local funds, and; <br /> WHEREAS, the use of Federal funds requires a joint funding AGREEMENT with the Illinois <br /> Department of Transportation. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR,ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Decatur, Illinois authorizes an amount not to <br /> exceed Two Hundred and Sixty Thousand Dollars ($260,000.00), in State Motor Fuel Tax funds <br /> using Rebuild Illinois Bond Grants to match Federal funds in the completion of the aforementioned <br /> project known as MFT Section Number 19-00904-00-BR. <br /> Section 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to <br /> execute the above-mentioned AGREEMENT and any other such documents related to advancement <br /> and completion of said project, hereto attached as Exhibit A. <br /> PRESENTED and ADOPTED this 1St day of February, 2021. <br /> JULIE MOORE WOLF AYOR <br /> ATTEST: <br /> KIM L.
