Excerpts from Plan Commission Meeting of April 1,2021: <br /> Case No. 21-02 Petition of DECATUR MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, to approve <br /> Development Plan for the construction of a maintenance/office building as an ancillary use <br /> to Decatur Memorial Hospital located at 2692, 2696 and 2698 North Church Street within <br /> the I-OL Institutional Overlay District <br /> It was moved and seconded(Kline/Clevenger)to forward Case No.21-02 to the City Council with <br /> a recommendation of approval as set forth in the staff report. <br /> Mrs. Joselyn Stewart was sworn in by Ms. Kylie Reynolds. <br /> Mrs. Stewart discussed and presented slides of the site and surrounding properties (available for <br /> viewing upon request) along with staff's recommendation for approval of the petition based on <br /> the staff report distributed to the Plan Commission prior to the meeting(staff report is on file and <br /> is available for reviewing by request)with the following condition: <br /> 1. Final site, landscaping and lighting plans shall be submitted to and approved by the <br /> Community Development Department,Public Works Department and the Fire Department <br /> prior to building permits being released. <br /> Mrs. Stephanie Brown, representative for the petitioner, was sworn in by Ms. Reynolds. <br /> Mrs. Brown stated she had nothing to add to the presentation and was here to answer any <br /> questions. <br /> Discussion amongst the Plan Commission members and City Staff followed Mrs. Stewart's <br /> presentation including construction and contents of the proposed structure. Mr. Greg Crowe <br /> stated plans/permits for the building would go through Building Inspections and would have to <br /> meet all code requirements. <br /> Mr. James Fouse, Architectural Expression, was sworn in by Ms. Reynolds. <br /> Mr. Fouse explained the use and the construction of the proposed structure. <br /> There were no objectors present. <br /> Upon call of the roll, Commission members Bruce Frantz, Rick Johnson, Steve Kline, Bill <br /> Clevenger and Jason Drake voted aye. Motion carried unanimously. <br />
