SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> SP-4 CONTAMINANT CONTROL AND INLET PROTECTION (CONTINUED) <br /> Basis of Payment: All labor and materials necessary top install inlet protection shall be <br /> paid for at the contract unit price per EACH for INLET AND PIPE PROTECTION. Concrete <br /> washout areas will not be paid for separately but shall be considered as included with other concrete <br /> pay items. <br /> SP-5 SCHEDULE OF WORK <br /> Description: The General Contractor and All Sub-Contractors shall furnish in writing, or <br /> electronic form, a weekly schedule by 12:00 P.M., Thursday, prior to the week being scheduled, so <br /> all media, safety services and other divisions can be notified. All work shall be approved by the <br /> Engineer. <br /> Basis of Payment: Cost of the work will not be paid for separately but shall be considered <br /> as included with the various work items involved. <br /> iSP-6 AGGREGATE BASE COURSE(SPECIAL) <br /> ' Description: Recycled aggregate base course CA-6 or recycled HMA may be placed as <br /> needed for base course to replace unsuitable material under class B patches, if determined by the <br /> engineer. This work shall be performed under Article 104.02 and 109.04 of IDOT specifications as <br /> directed by the engineer. Prior to placement, an IDOT Materials Inspection Approval Letter must be <br /> submitted to the Engineer. <br /> Basis of Payment: Excavation of unsuitable material will be paid for at the contract unit price <br /> per CUBIC FOOT for EARTH EXCAVATION. All labor and materials necessary to place the <br /> aggregate will be paid for at the contract unit price per TON for AGGREGATE BASE COURSE, <br /> SPECIAL. <br /> SP-7 W. MAIN STREET BRICK PAVERS <br /> Description: The existing brick pavers on W. Main Street will be removed and salvaged <br /> to the satisfaction of the Engineer. The westbound lane will then have it's existing base course <br /> removed and replaced with 12"concrete base course. The brick pavers will then be reinstalled on <br /> top of I inches of sand. Any pavers that are damaged and need replaced will be replaced with <br /> Unilock Optilock"L" Shaped Pavers, 10.1"x10.1"0.1", Rustic Red Color. The edge pavers are <br /> Unilock Holland Premier Pavers, 4"x8", Heritage Brown, Soldier Course, Miter Unit Pavers. <br /> Basis of Payment: All labor and materials involved in the removal salvaging, placing of <br /> g g� p g <br /> sand, and reinstallation of the brick pavers will be paid for at the contract unit price per SQUARE <br /> FOOT for REMOVE AND REINSTALL BRICK PAVER. Removal of base course will be paid for <br /> at the contract unit price per SQUARE YARD for PAVEMENT REMOVAL. The new PCC base <br /> course will be paid for at the contract unit price per SQUARE YARD for PORTLAND CEMENT <br /> CONCRETE BASE COURSE, 12".
