ORDINANCE NO. 2021 — q3 <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2021 <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Decatur passed its 2021 Budget Ordinance on December 7, <br /> 2021; and, <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Decatur has received Coronavirus Urgent Remediation <br /> Emergency Funds ("CURE") for specific uses; and, <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Decatur has received American Rescue Plan Funds ("ARP") for <br /> specific uses. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the approved Budget for Fiscal Year 2021 be and is amended as <br /> specifically set forth in this Ordinance, and the following amounts are hereby appropriated in the <br /> fiscal year ending December 31, 2021 and set apart within the following designated funds for <br /> expenditures as follows: <br /> Section 2. Community Revitalization Fund(#84) $2,074,608. <br /> $1,000,000 in monies received from CURE reimbursements, and another $1,074,608 in monies <br /> received in eligible revenue replacement from ARP, to be expended for property acquisition, <br /> building demolition and debris removal in support of neighborhood revitalization. <br /> Section 3. 2018 Project Fund (#44) $350,000. <br /> $350,000 in monies received from CURE reimbursements to be used to cover the capital costs <br /> necessary to complete the construction of Fire Station#7. <br /> Section 4. Water Capital Fund (#81) $6,000,000. <br /> $6,000,000 in monies received from ARP for the enhancement of the Decatur water treatment <br /> and distribution system and specifically the installation of C1ariCones at the city's South Water <br /> Treatment Plant. <br /> Section 5. Sewer Fund (#79) $3,000,000 <br /> $3,000,000 in monies received from ARP for the improvement of the city's sanitary sewer <br /> collection system and specifically for the separation of storm and sanitary sewers on the west <br /> side of Decatur to reduce sewer backups and overflows to adjacent creeks and streams, and the <br /> improvement of public health. <br />
