Call to Order and Determination of a Quorum <br /> The August 5, 2021 meeting of the Decatur City Plan Commission was called to order at 3:00 P.M. <br /> in the City Council Chamber, Third Floor of the Decatur Civic Center,by Chairman Susie Peck who <br /> determined a quorum was present. <br /> Members Present: Jason Drake, Bruce Frantz, Pat McDaniel, <br /> Andrew Taylor, Susie Peck <br /> Members Absent: Bill Clevenger, Kent Newton, Mike Peoples <br /> Staff Present: Greg Crowe, Joselyn Stewart, Jon Kindseth, <br /> John Robinson, Janet Poland <br /> II. Approval of Minutes of the July 8,2021 City Plan Commission Meeting <br /> It was moved and seconded(McDaniel/Taylor) to approve the minutes of the May 6, 2021 meeting <br /> of the Decatur City Plan Commission. Motion carried with Bruce Frantz and Susie Peck <br /> abstaining. <br /> III. New Business <br /> Case No. 21-10 Petition of CITY OF DECATUR, for a Conditional Use Permit in <br /> the R-2 Single Family Residence District to allow for a government building located at 3530 & <br /> 3550 EAST CHESTNUT AVENUE <br /> It was moved and seconded(McDaniel/Frantz)to forward Case No. 21-10 to the City Council with a <br /> recommendation of approval as set forth in the staff report. <br /> Mr. Greg Crowe was sworn in by Mrs. Janet Poland. <br /> Mr. Crowe discussed and presented slides of the site and surrounding properties (available for <br /> viewing upon request) along with staff's recommendation for approval of the petition based on the <br /> staff report distributed to the Plan Commission prior to the meeting (staff report is on file and is <br /> available for reviewing by request)with the following conditions: <br />
