July 6,2010—City Council approved Resolution R2010-140, authorizing an engineering design <br /> services agreement with URS Corporation(now AECOM)to perform preliminary design work <br /> to improve the Brush College Road crossing of the Norfolk Southern rail yard south of Faries <br /> Parkway. The design services agreement was for$811,000 and was paid for by an"Illinois Jobs <br /> Now!"grant from the State of Illinois. <br /> 2. July 6,2010—City Council approved Resolution R2010-141,authorizing a Local Agency <br /> Agreement with the Illinois Department of Transportation to provide$811,000 to fund the <br /> design agreement between the City and URS Corporation. <br /> 3. November 9,2011—City Council approved Resolution R2011-175, authorizing a change order <br /> to the agreement with URS Corporation to provide an additional$587,714 to expand the project <br /> to include a structure crossing Faries Parkway. The total design agreement increased to <br /> $1,398,714.35. <br /> 4. November 21,2011 —City Council approved Resolution R2011-177, authorizing an agreement <br /> with the Norfolk Southern Corporation in the amount of$26,845 to review and comment on the <br /> preliminary design for the proposed rail yard crossing. <br /> 5. July 16,2013—City Council approved Resolution R2013-71, authorizing a change order to the <br /> agreement with URS Corporation to provide an additional $39,998. The total design agreement <br /> increased to $1,438,712.35. <br /> 6. May 18,2015—City Council approved Resolution R2015-54, authorizing a Professional <br /> Engineering Services Agreement between the City of Decatur and AECOM Technical Services, <br /> Inc. (AECOM) of Decatur, IL,for the not-to-exceed amount of$2,156,599 to prepare final <br /> design plans and bid documents for the Brush College Road Bridge over the Norfolk Southern <br /> rail yard south of Faries Parkway. <br /> 7. May 18,2015—City Council approved Resolution R2015-55, authorizing a Local Agency <br /> Agreement for State Participation to fund$2,006,014 of the project costs through an Illinois <br /> Jobs Now! Grant. <br /> 8. April 17,2017—City Council approved Resolution R2017-47,terminating a$2,156,599 <br /> Engineering Services Agreement with-AECOM Technical Services,Inc. of Decatur, IL,to <br /> prepare final design plans and bid documents for the Brush College Road Bridge over the <br /> Norfolk Southern rail yard south of Faries Parkway. <br /> 9. August 7,2017—City Council approved Resolution R2017-96,authorizing a professional <br /> services agreement between the City of Decatur and Crawford, Murphy&Tilly, Inc. (CMT)to <br /> perform land acquisition services for the Brush College Road Improvement Project for a fee not <br /> to exceed$168,375. <br /> 10. August 7,2017—City Council approved Resolution R2017-97, authorizing a Local Agency <br /> Agreement for State Participation with the State of Illinois for the use of Illinois Jobs Now! <br /> N1N <br />
