A. Engineering Basic Services—Multi Modal Facility <br /> • Provide review of existing equipment and design concept/intent <br /> • Provide equipment specification and selection to replace three existing Furnaces and Air cooled <br /> condensing units. New units to be chosen to be minimum 16-17 SEER. <br /> • Review available Ameren rebates for new equipment to determine if any are available. <br /> • Design/specify new BAS controller to provide equipment status,failure,alarm,etc.for new <br /> furnaces,CU and existing ERU units. A means to notify maintenance staff that the units need to <br /> have filters changed is highly desirable. <br /> • Design BAS local control unit to interface transit building BAS system via local ethernet/intranet. <br /> • Provide preliminary"budget"construction cost estimate <br /> B. Engineering Basic Services—Decatur Mass Transit Facility <br /> • Provide review of existing equipment and design concept/intent <br /> • Develop corrective action necessary to reestablish the original building HVAC design intent and <br /> sequence of operation of equipment and space conditions. <br /> • Provide equipment specification and selection to replace two existing air cooled condensing units. <br /> New units to be chosen to be minimum 16-17 SEER if possible. <br /> • Provide plans and specifications to repair/upgrade the existing AHU unit. <br /> • Provide equipment specification and selection for replacement water heater. <br /> • Provide equipment specification and selection to replace existing gas fired radiant heaters in repair <br /> garage areas. <br /> • Provide equipment specification and selection for new boiler hot water circulation pump and <br /> associated piping and controls. <br /> • Provide equipment specification and selection for replacement of existing gas fire boilers <br /> • Provide equipment specification and selection of new BAS control system and interface of existing <br /> equipment,boilers,hot water valves,CU,AHU and Fan VFD controllers,and all zone VAV boxes <br /> to return the building control to the original design sequence of operation and equipment control. <br /> • Provide interface with remote BAS controller to monitor equipment status from the Multi-modal <br /> facility through this new BAS front end system via ethernet/intranet. <br /> • Review available Ameren rebates for all new equipment to determine if any are available. <br /> • Provide a final Punch list of all installed items and review final test and balance reports.(This is the <br /> only construction phase service to be included in this fixed proposal) <br /> • Provide preliminary"budget"construction cost estimate <br /> C. Procurement Phase Basic Services <br /> • Provide assistance in obtaining either competitive bids or negotiated proposals; <br /> • Provide assistance in reviewing and analyzing contractor bids to confirm proposals are providing <br /> equipment,and material that meet the compliance requirements of the plans and specifications. <br /> • Provide recommendation of which bid to accept to the city of Decatur <br /> • All other Bidding phase services not specifically listed above have been excluded from this <br /> proposal,including but not limited to the following: <br /> a. Assistance to the Owner in confirming responsiveness of bids or proposals <br /> b. Assistance to the Owner in awarding and preparing contracts for construction. <br /> D.
